System Configuration
Before proceeding to order your credit report, please note that best performance is assured with the following configurations:
- Screen resolution of 800 x 600 or higher
- Internet Explorer version 5.5 or above
- Windows 2000 or Windows XP operating system
Optional Hardware
If you have a smart card loaded with your digital certificate, you may use the Smart Card Reader for authentication and digital signing.
Security Settings
Your browser should support 128-bit SSL encryption to protect the transmission of sensitive data between your browser and our system. In addition, follow the steps below to define security settings for your system:
1. In the "Tools" menu of Internet Explorer, select "Internet Options"
2. On the "Security Tab", click "Custom Level"
3. Security settings for all users
3.1 Select the "Prompt" option to allow per-session cookies (not stored)
(For IE 5.X only)
3.2 Select the "Prompt" option to allow active scripting
4 Security settings for E-Cert users
4.1 Select the "Prompt" option for the items below
- Download signed ActiveX controls
- Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins
- Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting
Digital Signing Program Installation for E-Cert Users
Whenever you attempt to use the e-Cert to perform the personal verification or authentication, you should install the Digital Signing Program first.
