TransUnion offers a one-off free credit report for individuals who have lost their Hong Kong Identity Card, allowing individuals to review their latest credit information and better understand their credit health.

Eligibility

  • Available to individuals who have lost their Hong Kong Identity Card within the past 30 days*

How to Apply

Applicants must complete the following within 30 days of losing their HKID card:

  1. Make an online appointment
  2. Visit TransUnion Customer Services Center in person with the following documents:
    • Proof of loss of HKID (e.g. temporary identity document)
    • Valid Hong Kong SAR passport
    • Confirmation of application for Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card
    • Original proof of residential address issued within the past 3 months (e.g. rates demand note, water bill, electricity bill, gas bill, or credit card statement)
